Rain
I really do love the rain. I know most people will think I’m crazy but there is nothing I love more than watching a thunderstorm just on the brink of tornado. There is something soothing to me about gusty winds, pouring hard rain on the rooftops, bright flashes of light and house shaking rumbles of thunder. When I was a kid I remember my papa would sit out on the front porch and watch it storm. That is probably why I love storms so much, because it’s a memory of him. People think I'm crazy but one of these days I want to go on a storm chase. You know, where you chase down and follow tornados. I figure that is really the safest way to see one. I mean you are with professional people who know what they are doing, know what they are looking for and know what distance is safe. My husband on the other hand hates them. If there is even the hint of a storm he has the weather channel on and God forbid if there is one at night. He is up all night just listening and pacing the floor while I am sound asleep.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the sunshine and warm weather too but nothing is more calming that a good old storm.

My Awesome Weekend
I had the absolute best weekend! Friday me, Melissa and Beth went to see New Kids on the Block. It was freaking awesome! We were sitting in the first section right off the floor with a perfect view of the stage. We were also about 50 feet from the stage B area where they come out and do a couple of songs. We screamed, we danced, we sang and we stood for 3hours. We had such a great time we are going to see them again in June down in Cincinnati. Then after the concert we decided to meet up with one of Beth's friends close to the arena. As we were driving over we decided to check and see if the tour buses were still there. We drove back over to the arena and they were with a ton of people still there. We pulled over to the side of the road to let a semi pass me so I could turn around and behind that was a hummer limo. We heard all these girls screaming at it so I figured one of the guys was in the limo. I whip my car around and start following it just to see where it went and if anyone was actually in it. Well low and behold we end up at the Sugar Bar, and who should get out of the limo but Donnie Whalburge. So I park the car and we head over to the bar. It was so stinking cool. When we first got in it was so crowded you couldn't even move but then as people filtered out it was better. We were standing right by the little dancing girly stage in front of the VIP section and were like 10 feet from where Donnie was sitting. He even got up on stage and greeted everyone. We finally headed home about 1:30am. Then Saturday and Sunday we spent the whole day with my niece. It was so much fun and she is so big. She is spending three weeks with the in-laws so we will get to see a lot of her. I'm very excited!
